Our History
The Adamawa State Scholarship Trust Fund (ASSTF) was established by Law No. 10 in December 2008 as a state government parastatal. It was created to address increasing educational financing challenges due to rapid student population growth and shrinking government resources.
In response, the government restructured its approach to bursaries, partial and full scholarships, and student loan schemes, both locally and internationally, ensuring they align with modern realities.
Key Milestones
- 2008 - Establishment by Law No. 10
- 2010 - First scholarship awards distributed
- 2015 - Expanded to include vocational training
- 2020 - Digital application system launched

- Academic Level: NCE, ND, HND, Undergraduate & Postgraduate students.
- Enrollment: Active enrolment in an accredited tertiary institution.
- Residency: Adamawa State indigenes residing in Nigeria only.
- Academic Standing: Good academic record required.
